tentative wedding date

Well, we've started looking at halls in the area and while we haven't booked one yet, we are thinking of April 24, 2010. Nothing like rushing in, right?

This should give us some breathing room for the planning ahead. Lots of work to be done!
(I have already ordered my dress, though)

I'll post here and elsewhere when the date and location are firm.

We're engaged!

Well, we're finally taking the big step!

Darren and I got engaged on our 12th (yes, twelfth!) anniversary of being together (April 27th) There was no big romantic gesture, just a lovely dinner and a sweet proposal ... and a very happy girl!

We were waiting to tell everyone until we had gotten the ring, but we're having one made and it's taking a bit longer than expected - not to mention if I wait any longer to tell everyone, I think I'll explode! :)

No date set as of yet, but we'll keep you all informed, one way or another.
